DataRoad concludes complete network installation project, wireless infrastructure, NAS server and IP PBX switchboard for the expansion of Boost Portugal
A DataRoad was chosen by the Boost Portugal to execute a comprehensive project of computer network installation, structured cabling, enterprise wireless solutions, NAS server, UPS e IP PBX telephone system, as part of the company's expansion into a larger new office and with more demanding technological requirements.
This project is part of a growth phase for Boost Portugal, which needed to interconnect the old office — previously implemented by DataRoad — with the new space, as well as to create a wireless bridge connection for an additional office. The expansion also required the interconnection of two behind the scenes, ensuring a highly secure, stable and scalable network infrastructure.

The team from Networking and IT Consultancy DataRoad carried out a detailed assessment of the requirements, followed by the complete implementation of the technological infrastructure, including:

- Installation of CAT6 cabling and network points
- Installation of cable trays, power towers and electrical sockets
- Installation of rack-mounted UPS for power redundancy and protection

- Configuration of corporate firewall
- Installation of fence around 12 wireless access points
- Creation of wireless bridge network between offices
- Implementation of dedicated wireless network for team and visitors

- Installation of NAS server corporate
- Complete data and access migration, with folder structure optimisation
🔹 Business Communications
- Installation and configuration of IP PBX telephone system with 20 channels
- Configuration of DECT IP phones
